The HR Council and the Federation of Community Organizations (FOCO) have released the Report Back to participants of the Voluntary and Non-profit HR Forum that took place on September 21 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The forum involved nearly 100 community organizations based in the Halifax Regional Municipality and across Nova Scotia discussing issues relating to paid employment in the voluntary and non-profit sector.

The latest topic on the Human Resource Council on the Voluntary/Non-profit Sector's Human Resource Management Toolkit is diversity. This toolkit provides the fundamentals of a diversity policy, links to important resources for developing diversity policies, and sample policies from actual organizations.
